Job Details

The Role:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including reconciliations, A/P, A/R, and payroll.
• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and maintain compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts, providing insights to leadership.
• Guide and mentor team members, helping to redistribute transactional workload.
• Serve as a key contact for external auditors and assist with year-end activities.
• Identify process improvements to support scalability and growth.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong experience with accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, general ledger coding, and reconciliations.
• Prior experience in professional services, law, or a similar environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and explain financial results.
• A balance of hands-on skills with the ability to step back and guide others.
