Accounting Assistant Independent insurance agency outside of Atlanta is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their growing team! Candidates can sit in Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA area or remote in the Southeast. MUST HAVE APPLIED EPIC AND INSURANCE AGENCY EXPERIENCE! Responsibilities Obtaining monthly agency bill and direct bill statements and sending to corporate accounting team. Ensuring bank transactions are accounted for appropriately. Timely submission of corporate credit card transactions to corporate team (via Concur) Timely submission of vendor payable invoices to Corporate team Run production and commission reports for producers. Ensure premium finance funds flows are accounted for correctly. Qualifications/Requirements 3+ years of experience as an Agency Accountant/Accounting Assistant within the insurance sector Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred Thorough understanding of accounting principles and procedures. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality. Must have Applied Epic experience. Compensation Package Salary: $60K-$75K, depending on experience and qualifications.
