Business Analyst

TimeClock Plus is looking for an experienced Business Analyst professional to help bridge the gap between product development and the customer community to ensure successful deployment and implementation of software solutions to our valued customers.

About The Job:
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for working with internal and external customers to identify and understand client payroll processes and business needs, translate those needs into specific software module requirements, and ensure that product development, deployment and implementation support those business needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Serving as the conduit between the customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow
• Eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis
• Effectively communicating with internal teams and external clients to deliver functional requirements like GUI, screen and interface designs
• Analyzing and identifying data issues that require an override on core systems or assistance with data mapping between systems
• Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information into details and distinguishing user requests from the underlying true needs.

About the Candidate:
Qualified candidates will need to be able to demonstrate strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. A strong understanding of technical designs, database structures, and specifications is a plus. Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and exhibit strong oral, written and reasoning abilities as these are essential to meeting customer expectations. A four year college degree in MIS, Computer Science or similar field is preferred.
