Overview

Carrick Professionals Talent Solutions is pleased to partner with McDowell Cornerstone Credit Union, a community-focused Credit Union located in western North Carolina, seeking a strategic and motivated individual to lead day-to-day operations and drive sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate is a community-oriented leader who will engage with and be a visible presence in the community they serve. This role requires a collaborative professional who can enhance member satisfaction and promote the mission of the credit union. You will be successful if you are flexible and resourceful, and someone who thrives in a small team environment and embraces a variety of responsibilities with enthusiasm.

What Youll Do

As Credit Union Manager, youll play a pivotal role in both strategic vision and day-to-day operations, working under the direct supervision of the Board of Directors. This role is perfect for a leader who enjoys wearing multiple hats, can balance big-picture goals with hands-on responsibilities, and is dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.

To Qualify For This Position, Applicants Must Have


  • Leadership Experience Demonstrated credit union or banking management, with a strong lending background.
  • Financial Acumen A solid foundation in finance or accounting.
  • Technology & Cybersecurity Experience with new technology integration in financial services and proficiency in managing IT and cybersecurity programs.
  • Regulatory Knowledge Deep understanding of regulatory requirements with a demonstrated aptitude for compliance.
  • Team & Project Management Skilled at managing people, projects, and multiple responsibilities effectively.


Other Qualifications
  • Marketing Savvy Experience in both traditional and social media marketing is a plus.
  • Preferred Qualifications A degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred, but not required).


Compensation

Salary is competitive and based on experience and education.
