PART-TIME UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER – SPECIAL EVENTS
Start Date: Immediate Hire
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Schedule: Afternoons & evenings (weekdays/weekends) | Season generally runs through OctoberValentis Group, Inc. is hiring Part-Time/Event Unarmed Security Officers to support special events including sports games, concerts, fairs, and more throughout Pittsburgh.
Role Summary:
Provide unarmed security and foot patrol services at client event sites. Officers must ensure a safe, professional environment while identifying threats and responding to incidents as needed. Training is provided and paid.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct foot patrols and manage access points
Maintain high visibility to deter potential incidents
Respond calmly and professionally to emergencies
Communicate clearly and write accurate reports
Uphold company standards and coordinate with supervisors
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license required
High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of security or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must attend in-person training in Pittsburgh
Able to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform extended standing/walking
