About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Traded Credit and Counterparty Credit Risk. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the assessment, monitoring, and management of counterparty credit risk across traded products. This includes the development and implementation of risk policies, frameworks, and strategies to mitigate exposure, as well as overseeing credit risk analysis for a range of financial instruments. The role also involves collaboration with trading, risk management, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with industry standards, conducting stress testing, scenario analysis, and portfolio risk assessments, and engaging with senior stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations on risk exposure. Applicants must have extensive experience in traded credit risk and counterparty risk management, with a strong knowledge of derivatives, repos, swaps, total return swaps, and structured finance products. The position requires proven leadership experience at an Executive Director level or equivalent, expertise in risk modeling, stress testing, and regulatory frameworks, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities are also essential. The role demands a candidate who can ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal risk governance frameworks, and who is capable of leading a team of risk professionals while fostering a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement.
