This role centers around expertise in Next.js, React, and TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on building scalable, high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a hybrid work environment, balancing independent execution with collaborative teamwork across design, backend, and DevOps functions.

  • Build scalable server-side rendered (SSR) and statically generated (SSG) applications with optimal performance

  • Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Apollo Client and integrate with backend services

  • Architect features from database to UI using PostgreSQL, Prisma, and modern state management tools

  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines and Docker environments

  • Apply security best practices and performance optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, caching)

  • Use AI tools like Cursor AI for code generation, debugging, and team training on AI-assisted workflows

  • Collaborate with designers and engineers, participate in Agile ceremonies, and mentor junior developers

  • Maintain code quality through documentation, code reviews, and Git-based workflows

  • Support legacy systems, integrate with Mulesoft, and contribute to technical strategy and innovation

Education, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 2–6 years of professional software development experience, including production-ready Next.js applications

  • Proficiency in Next.js, React.js, TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+), Tailwind CSS, and responsive design

  • Experience with React Native, Redux/Zustand, and modern state management techniques

  • Skilled in Node.js, Express.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL/MongoDB, and ORMs like Prisma

  • Familiarity with AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2), Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Infrastructure as Code

  • Strong command of AI development tools such as Cursor AI for code generation, debugging, and optimization

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills; able to work independently and collaboratively

  • Preferred experience with Supabase, Vercel, Mulesoft, TDD, accessibility standards, SEO, and open-source contributions

  • Bonus: background in hospitality or travel industry

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $70,000–$90,000 based on experience

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching

  • Professional development budget for courses and conferences

  • Access to the latest development tools and technologies

  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI development tools

  • Collaborative and innovative team environment

  • Career growth opportunities within the organization

  • Hybrid work environment
