UOVUNIUSR0077620EXTERNALENUS The HIS Analyst is an an entry level position that supports the integrity, accuracy, and organization of the legal medical record within UVA Health’s electronic medical record (EMR) environment. This position is responsible for performing complex review, quality assurance, and maintenance of documentation received through multiple sources, including external email, scanning, and digital interfaces. The HIS Analyst ensures compliance with UVA Health policies, HIPAA privacy regulations, and state and federal documentation standards. This role contributes directly to patient care by maintaining complete, accurate, and timely medical records.
