ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Linda DeSpain - State Farm Agent is seeking an organized and efficient specialist to fulfill administrative duties and support insurance agents in gaining and keeping customers. As a Intern - State Farm Agent Team Member with our agency, your attention to detail, dedication to customer relations, and sales-mindedness equip you for this versatile position. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be able to work Remotely from home. All equipment provided.
• Must want to be working towards being a General Lines Insurance Professional and end of internship.
• Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed upon expectations.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• To be eligible for an internship, you must be willing to work 40 Hours Per Week M-F.
• Must be either Newly Licensed or want to acquire licensing while on the job. Licensing Test Prep and Guidance provided.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as operate independently
• Effective customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external parties
• Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
• Internship expected to last one-calendar year
• This position is designed for someone that is either fresh out of school or wants to change careers.
• This is a perfect position for someone who needs work flexibility to manage a busy household with family.
• This is PAID Internship Position - however the first 30 days of initial training is unpaid.

This is a remote position.
