This luxury interior design firm is looking for a Junior Interior Designer to join their dynamic team of professionals. This firm prides itself on having a collaborative team environment. • Assist the Principal and the Senior Design team with interior design tasks
• Act as support for client meetings and presentations, to include digital visual boards, ordering samples, and all other meeting needs
• Work with the design team to generate proposals on Studio Designer
• Oversee tracking of furniture orders to ensure on-time arrivals.
• Ensure smooth communication with vendors and contractors.
• Maintain consistent communication with suppliers, furniture showrooms, and workrooms
• Assist in preparations for installations.
• Manage the office schedule on a daily and weekly basis.
• Attend site visits as needed with the design team
• Fulfill any other tasks delegated by the team

• Qualifications:

  • An associate's, bachelor's, or interior design certificate. Relevant design experience will be accepted
  • An ability to multitask on designated duties simultaneously.
  • Experience managing communication between clients, vendors, contractors, and the design team.
  • Studio Designer experience is a plus.
  • Experience managing schedules for a team/office.
  • Have a positive and team-inclusive mindset.
  • Previous experience with an interior design firm is required.

  This position is a full-time and in-person position based in Westwood, CA. The firm offers health, dental, generous PTO, 401 (k) matching, phone allowance, gas reimbursements, and monthly team lunches.
