Leasing Agent (Part-Time)
Location: Dane County, WI
Pay: $20–$23/hour
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an outgoing, customer-focused Leasing Agent to support a high-demand affordable housing community in Dane County. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing excellent service, and helping residents find the right home. If you have a natural sales instinct and a friendly, approachable personality, we’d love to meet you.
Schedule: Part-time hours, flexible based on property needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist prospective residents with tours, application details, and community features
• Build rapport with walk-ins, phone inquiries, and online leads to convert interest into signed leases
• Support the leasing lifecycle—application processing, income verification, and move-in coordination
• Maintain a professional, welcoming atmosphere in the office and on property
• Respond to resident questions with care and accuracy, escalating concerns when appropriate
• Assist with renewals, marketing efforts, and resident engagement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations, policies, and tenant qualification guidelines
What We’re Looking For:
• Outgoing, friendly personality and strong relationship-building skills
• Sales experience or demonstrated success converting leads or closing interactions
• Previous leasing or property management experience preferred (affordable housing experience highly valued)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic administrative and computer proficiency
• Professional communication—verbal, written, and in-person
