About Us:  Voltec Solutions, LLC is an expanding business dedicated to delivering exceptional electrical services to our clients. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality workmanship. As we grow, we are looking to add a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to our dynamic team in the Amarillo Region 

Position Summary:  The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for leading a team of technicians while collaborating closely with home builders and other construction personnel. This role requires a licensed electrician who can demonstrate exceptional technical skills, leadership abilities, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of electricians on residential projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines.
• Collaborate effectively with home builders, contractors to facilitate project completion and maintain positive working relationships.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment according to NEC standards and project specifications.
• Conduct inspections and ensure that all work is compliant with local codes and regulations.
• Manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and communicate progress to project managers and supervisors.
• Train and mentor apprentice electricians and junior staff in electrical installation techniques, safety practices, and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions in a proactive manner.
• Monitor inventory and materials required for job completion to minimize downtime.
• Conduct all duties with a strong emphasis on safety, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license 
• Minimum 1 years of experience as a licensed electrician with a focus on both residential projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading and supervising teams in the electrical trade.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and contractors.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
