WCS is seeking a Mammo Tech for a local contract at hospital in Hackensack, NJ.

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift
\n
• 8:30AM-5PM.
\n

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations following established protocols and safety standards.

  \n
\n

• Position patients and operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.

  \n
\n

• Maintain and calibrate mammography equipment to ensure optimal performance and image accuracy.

  \n
\n

• Educate and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns.

  \n
\n

• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all regulatory and quality assurance requirements.

  \n
\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• Maintains current certification/licensure as required for position.  
\n
• Maintains adequate contrast media and biopsy/drainage supplies in each scanning room.  
\n
• 1.5 year of Mammography Tech experience.  \n
\n
• BLS from the American Heart Association required.  
\n
• Adheres to venipuncture and power injector protocols.  \n
\n
