WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.  

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift and Night Shift.
\n
• 3x12.
\n
• Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions.   
\n
• Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience.
\n
• Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing.  
\n
• Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures.  
\n

\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.   
\n
• Current RN license for the state of New York.
\n
• 2 years of acute ICU/CCU Stepdown RN experience is required; ICU/CCU background is highly preferred but not required.  
\n
