Job Description & RequirementsWCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Outpatient Clinic in Philadelphia, PA.
Job Function:
\nProvides direct patient care in an outpatient/ambulatory setting, following established clinical protocols and physician orders.
\nPrepares patients for examinations and procedures; obtains and documents vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
\nAdministers medications and injections, performs wound care, and assists with diagnostic testing as required.
\nTriages patient calls and walk-ins, identifying urgency and coordinating timely follow-up care.
\nEducates patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up instructions.
\nCollaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
\nJob Requirements:
\nActive Registered Nurse license in the state of assignment.
\nMinimum of 1 year of nursing experience; outpatient or ambulatory experience preferred.
\nCurrent BLS certification required.
