WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Outpatient Clinic in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 8:15am to 4:45pm.
\n

• Provides direct patient care in an outpatient/ambulatory setting, following established clinical protocols and physician orders.

  \n
\n

• Prepares patients for examinations and procedures; obtains and documents vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.

  \n
\n

• Administers medications and injections, performs wound care, and assists with diagnostic testing as required.

  \n
\n

• Triages patient calls and walk-ins, identifying urgency and coordinating timely follow-up care.

  \n
\n

• Educates patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up instructions.

  \n
\n

• Collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

  \n
\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of assignment.

  \n
\n

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; outpatient or ambulatory experience preferred.

  \n
\n

• Current BLS certification required.

  \n
\n
