WCS Healthcare is partnering with a reputable multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center in NY, seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Senior Surgical Technologist to join their dynamic operating room team. This center specializes in orthopedic, ENT, podiatry, pain management, plastic, urology, and general surgical procedures, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 6:30am-4pm.
\n

• Assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures following aseptic and sterile techniques.

  \n
\n

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.

  \n
\n

• Maintain the sterile field and anticipate surgical team needs throughout procedures.

  \n
\n

• Handle specimens properly for laboratory analysis and documentation.

  \n
\n

• Count sponges, needles, and instruments to ensure accurate inventory before and after procedures.

  \n
\n

\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• 5+ Years of Surgical Tech Experience.
  Current Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) – required.

  \n
\n

• BLS Certification – required.

  \n
\n

• Prior experience in an ambulatory surgery or hospital operating room preferred.

  \n
\n

• Knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile processing.

  \n
\n
