Job Summary & Details:

All drivers run daily routes with frequent stops and are required to load packages onto hand trucks and unload products at each stop on the assigned route in the order they are designated by the Transportation Department Manager. The candidate will operate successfully in a cross-dock model picking up a loaded truck from a nightly delivery at the assigned loading dock and return the empty truck back to the assigned lot at the end of the route. May be required to assist occasionally with loading trucks, palletizing products, and performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications:

• Education \n\n\t

  • High School or GED or equivalent
  \n\t
  \n\t
\n\t
• Experience \n\t
  \n\t\t
  • One-year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
  \n\t\t
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License preferred
  \n\t\t
  • Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
