MAIL CLERK

40 Hours per week

Full-Time

The Monmouth County Mail Clerk under supervision performs routine work concerned with delivering, receiving, sorting, distributing, and preparing a volume of mail; does other related duties as required. Monday through Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Drive, load, and unload the mail truck
• Ensures that proper signatures are obtained where necessary.
• Makes regular/special runs for intradepartmental collections of outgoing mail
• Does routine work concerned with folding, inserting, sealing, and labeling operations
• Prepares outgoing mail for delivery to a state/local department post office.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Valid driver's license required.
