Mail Sorter - Keep the Mail Moving in Grand Prairie, TX

Step into a fast-paced, detail-oriented role as a Mail Sorter in Grand Prairie, TX! Hours & Pay

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM | $16.50/hr

3rd Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 12:30 AM - 8:30 AM | $17.50/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing mail by verifying dates, postage, and barcode quality before production
• Identify and communicate errors or defective barcodes to maintain accuracy
• Troubleshoot and clear mail jams from sorting machines
• Hand-sort "flats" (typically 9x12 envelopes) when required
• Palletize mail for shipment
• Maintain a safe and organized work area while following all safety guidelines

Requirements

• Ability to work at a fast pace with a high level of accuracy
• Physical stamina to stand on concrete floors for full shifts and lift up to 25 lbs
• Frequent bending, stooping, and twisting are required
• Basic understanding of English to follow safety and operational instructions
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail and willingness to troubleshoot issues as they arise
