We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain complex network systems to ensure seamless connectivity and security for our organization. This position requires expertise in networking protocols, hardware, and cloud technologies, as well as a strong commitment to regulatory compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and support network systems, including routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
• Manage and troubleshoot network devices such as Cisco routers, Palo Alto firewalls, and Juniper hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
• Develop and enforce security protocols, including Layer 7 firewalling, Network Access Control, and Radius integration.
• Configure and manage cloud networking solutions, including AWS Transit Gateways and Azure ExpressRoute.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Lead projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion and adherence to scope.
• Optimize wireless network performance using technologies like Aruba ClearPass and WiFi solutions.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures for audit and operational reference.• Proven experience in configuring and managing Cisco routers, Palo Alto firewalls, and other network hardware.
• Expertise in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and Multicast, as well as switching technologies like Etherchannel.
• Familiarity with cloud networking in AWS and Azure environments, including virtual gateways and ExpressRoute.
• Strong understanding of network security, including NextGen firewalls and user authentication protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot IP network packets and hardware effectively.
• Certification in CCNP or equivalent networking credentials is highly desirable.
• Experience in regulated environments with knowledge of compliance and risk management requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
