Job #: 2089337 Apex Systems is currently hiring for Data Center/Network Engineer with a global technology leader that helps organizations of all sizes connect, secure and automate their operations through innovative hardware, software and services. Project Details / Mission Supported: • You will work in several secure environments to build, deploy, and support mission essential networks and work closely with a team to build, support, and maintain a variety of Production Based network related platforms and secure computing operational environments. Responsibilities:
• Support and maintain secure, mission-critical networks across multiple environments, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP, and software platforms (ISE, DNA Center, Call Manager, SD-WAN).
• Work in data center environments with technologies like Windows/Linux/Unix OS, VMWare virtualization, and thin client systems.
• Ensure compliance with NISPOM and ICD guidelines; assist with System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and system accreditations.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and manage protocols including TCP/IP, dynamic routing, and switching technologies.
• Collaborate with global teams and work independently to support secure computing environments.
• Required: BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, 5+ years of network engineering experience, Cisco CCNP or higher, DoD 8570 certification (e.g., CISSP, Security+).
• Preferred: Experience with McAfee ePO, Splunk, COMSEC, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google), and Jira administration. Location: Raleigh, NC (Research Triangle Park/RTP)
Onsite expectation: Fully onsite
Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly (FSP)
Salary/Pay range: $65-85/hr.
