Job Description

Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs, FNPs, AGNPs) licensed in Idaho and/or Washington to work direct care within our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Behavioral Health Solution's team of mental health treatment professionals specializes in providing comprehensive behavioral health services for adults and geriatrics in a variety of settings. Service areas incorporate:

• Seeking a licensed provider to work along the border of ID and WA, in the Moscow/Pullman and Lewiston/Clarkston areas.
• We have opportunities in Spokane, WA as well.
• These are in-person positions, rounding in SNF facilities in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Job Type:

• Full-time or Part-time available
• W2 Billable Hour or 1099 Independent Contractor roles available

Requirements

• Licensed in Idaho and/or Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing as a PMHNP or FNP with a focus on psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Idaho and/or Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
• Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees)
• 1 year Geriatric Psych Experience (preferred).

Skills

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).
• Excellent written communication.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, organized, and functions under stressful situations.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus!
