Academic physician leadership role for a board-certified/eligible Pediatrician with Medical Genetics and Genomics expertise to serve as Division Director of Pediatric Genetics & Metabolism and potentially Director of the Rare Disease Center of Excellence. Responsibilities include up to 60% clinical care for pediatric and adult patients, leading and growing clinical and genomic research programs, teaching trainees, and managing interdisciplinary collaborations and clinical operations. Requires MD/DO with appropriate residency and fellowship training, licensure/DEA eligibility, demonstrated research and leadership experience, and offers university and clinical employer appointments with competitive compensation and benefits.

The faculty are highly interactive and the Department of Pediatrics provides strong support for faculty development. The division has a robust research portfolio and collaborates with other pediatric specialists across the spectrum of the department.

Pay and Benefits:
This role is dually employed by University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Total salary is market competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through M Physicians. The base salary range for this position is $146,500-$333,600 commensurate with experience, qualifications, and cFTE. The salary from the University is dependent upon the academic effort of the person hired.
