Physical Therapist - Acute Care Rehab *PRN, Day* at Providence Health and Services summary:

This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing physical therapy treatments independently or with minimal supervision for patients in an acute care rehabilitation setting. The position requires graduation from an accredited physical therapy program and appropriate licensure, with preferred experience in neonatal therapy and rehabilitation. Description

The practice of physical therapy shall include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, education, communication and demonstration of therapeutic techniques to address the needs of patients and their families with supervisory guidance as needed. Otherwise, a physical therapist shall work independently without direction supervision.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Upon hire: Texas Physical Therapy Assistant License.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Neonatal Therapist (CCH acute only): Graduation from an accredited program.
  • 2 years experience in rehabilitation.
