The Researcher performs laboratory tasks under direct supervision. Expected to understand underlying concepts of experimental design and to implement these concepts under direct supervision.
Dr. Jasmine Plummer is seeking a Researcher to focus on aiding her team's work in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of complex diseases.
This entry-level Researcher position is ideal for recent graduates (Bachelor's or Master's) seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic laboratory setting. The Plummer Lab is centered on understanding how cellular origins and perturbations lead to disease development, particularly cancer and neurodevelopmental disorders. We employ a comprehensive multi-omics approach to analyze various biological data types, including genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics.

Compensation In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $24.00 - $42.00 per hour for the role of Researcher - Plummer Lab (Center for Spatial OMICs).
