As an RPA Software Engineer, you will collaborate with coworkers to deeply understand customer needs, design intelligent automation systems that solve real-world problems, and build best-in-class automation solutions. Our stack includes TypeScript, Postgres, and React, with Playwright as our primary automation framework.

In this role, you will:

• Own the scoping, design, and development of RPA solutions and automation workflows.

• Develop intelligent bots and automation scripts to streamline tax compliance processes.

• Identify manual processes and transform them into automated solutions.

• Collaborate with Operations to address technical issues for internal and external customers.

What excites us:

• You have a strong technical background, with 4+ years of experience working as a software engineer and 2+ years of experience building automation solutions or RPA systems.

• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation. Experience with other RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) is a plus.

• You think through problems thoroughly to ensure we're building the right solution to the right problem at the right time, and you will push back when necessary.

• Your designs take into account scalability, error handling, and maintenance requirements, and you can clearly articulate the tradeoffs between manual and automated processes.

• You level up the people around you by sharing your knowledge and experience.

For employees based in one of our hub cities such as San Francisco, New York, or Salt Lake City, we follow a hybrid model. Team members in these locations come into the office three days a week to collaborate in person and stay connected with their teams.

For employees located outside of these hub cities, we offer a fully remote setup, U.S only.
