Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An excellent opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in an elementary school setting. This full-time, contract position focuses on working with K-5th grade students who have mostly mild disabilities, providing both push-in and pull-out services to meet individual educational needs.

Location: Goose Creek, SC
Duration: Contract for the current school year

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering individualized instruction and support to students with mild disabilities in grades K-5
• Collaborating with general education teachers to integrate services within the classroom environment
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student
• Monitoring and documenting student progress to inform instructional adjustments
• Participating in team meetings and communication with families to ensure comprehensive student support

Qualifications and experience:

• Valid teaching certification with endorsement in Special Education
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices for students with mild disabilities
• Experience providing both push-in and pull-out instructional services in elementary settings
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, students, and families
