Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school located in Littleton, CO, is seeking experienced Special Education Teachers (SPED) to provide dedicated support within a K-12 educational setting.

Position Details:

• Role: Special Education Teacher specializing in Autism
• Location: Denver area (east side of the city)
• Assignment: Mosley P-8 School
• Dates: January 7, 2026 May 21, 2026
• Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Format: On-site only; virtual or hybrid arrangements are not available

Responsibilities:

• Support three classrooms, each with approximately 12 students ranging from elementary to middle school levels
• Provide direct classroom support with a focus on students with autism
• Manage and collaborate with paraprofessionals to ensure effective educational delivery
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with best practices and district standards

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Teaching License with a Special Education Generalist endorsement
• Proven experience managing classroom environments and paraprofessional staff
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills tailored to special education needs
