Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

 

Job Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and perform laboratory testing and analysis within the Pathology Department, specifically in Histology.
Prepare and analyze tissue samples using established histological techniques to assist in diagnosis and research.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and ensure proper calibration and quality control.
Record, interpret, and report test results accurately in compliance with laboratory and regulatory standards.
Maintain clean and organized laboratory conditions while following safety and infection control protocols.
Collaborate with pathologists, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals to support efficient workflow.
Perform additional laboratory-related duties as assigned.

 

Required / Preferred Information:

Education: Associate’s Degree from an accredited laboratory technology program (required); Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
License: Valid New York State license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist issued by NYSED with Primary Source Verification.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
Background: Histology experience required.
