\n\nDialysis RN Job Details\n\n

\n\t
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2500-$2600
\n\t
• Assignment Length: 16 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 4/6/2026)
\n\t
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Dialysis Unit, large teaching hospital (500+ beds)
\n\t
• Nursing Shift: 10-hour days (7:00am – 5:30pm), every other weekend required
\n\t
• Weekly Hours: 40
\n\t
• On-Call: On-call and floating required
\n\t
• Holiday Coverage: Must work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day)
\n\t
• Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays (next available: 12/29)
\n\t
• Transportation: Reliable personal or rental vehicle required; all-season or snow tires recommended November–April
\n

\n\nDialysis Nurse Qualifications\n\n

\n\t
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Vermont or compact state)
\n\t
• Minimum 3 years of recent acute dialysis nursing experience in a large (500+ beds), teaching hospital
\n\t
• Pediatric dialysis experience required
\n\t
• Apheresis experience preferred
\n\t
• Prior travel nursing experience required
\n\t
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)
\n\t
• American Heart Association BLS certification
\n\t
• Ability to work every other weekend and participate in on-call rotation
\n\t
• Flexible scheduling (no block schedules)
\n\t
• Reliable transportation (public transportation not available)
\n\t
• Complete work history required for submission (include bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.)
\n

\n\nDialysis RN Responsibilities\n\n

\n\t
• Deliver acute dialysis care to adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity hospital environment
\n\t
• Perform apheresis procedures as needed
\n\t
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
\n\t
• Float to other hospital units as required
\n\t
• Participate in on-call rotation and work every other weekend
\n\t
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
\n\t
• Maintain compliance with hospital and nursing policies and procedures
\n\t
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced clinical setting
