\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• 36 guaranteed hours per week (48 hours available upon request)
\n• Overtime applies after 52 hours on 48-hour contracts
\n• Work three weekends out of every six-week schedule
\n• Every other holiday required
\n• Float to other campuses within skillset: Deaconess Newburgh (8 miles) and potentially Henderson, KY (11 miles)
\n• 2-hour notice given for cross campus floats; mid-shift float within same campus possible
\n• 32-bed Cardiac Renal Unit Stepdown with 1:5-7 patient ratio on nights
\n• Required certifications: Compact license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS
\n• Minimum 2 years strong Cardiac/Tele experience, 1 travel assignment, and trauma level II experience required
\n• Recent EPIC charting experience required with mandatory checkoff class
\n• Must pass tele tests and demonstrate strong assessment and critical thinking skills
\n• High acuity patient population including cardiac patients, CHF, COPD, sepsis, post ablations, and dialysis
\n• Skills required: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation, initiate/titrate drips, PIV insertion, chest tube management, CBI
\n• Manage antiarrhythmic medications and nephrostomy tubes
\n• May require precepting students and new hires in teaching hospital environment
\n• No competing health system or agency logos allowed on scrubs
\n• Three call-ins can result in termination
