\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Holiday requirement if contract period includes holidays
\n• Up to 5 weekend shifts per schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
\n• Patient ratios vary from 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 in mixed ICU and step-down unit
\n• Float within scope to meet facility needs
\n• 2 years of PICU experience required
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• ECMO and CRRT experience preferred
\n• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
\n• Required certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association only)
\n• Care for pediatric patients ages 0-18 with medical and surgical diagnoses
\n• Common diagnoses include respiratory compromise, trauma, post-operative surgical patients, and neurology/neurosurgery cases
\n• Provide ventilatory and cardiac support, ECMO/CRRT, dialysis, and complex supportive therapies
\n• Epic charting system
\n• 12-hour orientation
\n• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
\n• 60-mile local radius rule applies
\n• All RTO must be submitted at time of submission
\n• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment possible (June-November)

The organization features a 28-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit providing intensive and intermediate care to children from across the state. The facility offers comprehensive pediatric services including ECMO, CRRT, dialysis, and complex supportive therapies, with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The organization maintains high standards as a quaternary referral facility for the region.
