As a Sterile Processing Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our surgical instruments and environments meet the highest standards of safety and readiness.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nMaintain and distribute designated supplies to assigned areas.\n\nEnsure all equipment and instruments are available and ready for each surgical case.\n\nDecontaminate, clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments in accordance with AMMI recommended practices.\n\nComplete and verify accuracy of instrument count sheets.\n\nAssist OR staff in locating and preparing instruments as needed.\n\nMaintain permanent sterilization records for Surgery and other departments per regulatory standards.\n\nReestablish a clean and safe environment post-procedure, including room and equipment turnover.\n\nPrepare and maintain surgical supplies and specialty equipment (e.g., laryngoscope blades, tubing, filters, ultrasound, fluid/blood warmers, specialty pumps, etc.).\n\nQualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\n\nMinimum of one year of recent Sterile Processing experience required.\n\nCertification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CBSPD or IAHCSMM) preferred.\n\nCurrent BLS certification preferred.
