Job Description
Wanted: Medical Test Editor for part-time, telecommuting position to work with national medical certifying board located in the Washington, D.C. area. Lay test editor’s responsibilities include working with exam committees during the development and review process to determine if terminology and items developed conform with testing principles. Applicants should be self-starters who have excellent organizational and communication skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines while working with staff. Responsibilities also include communicating with physicians to complete review and development assignments and participation in evening teleconference calls several times a year. Travel to examination in Washington, D.C. area may be required. Minimum five years experience in medical editing required with background in medical test editing preferred.
