The Position:

As we continue our growth trajectory, we are looking to bring on a Sign Installer/Sign Maker to work at our Clinton, CT facility. Work schedule is 7am-3:30pm.

The Sign Maker/Installer prints and fabricates and installs the signs, lighting and graphic materials that are used on the exhibits and displays. They operate the digital printer and plotter, plan and install the graphics and low voltage lighting on the exhibits in the set-up area. Supplemental responsibilities include assisting in the set up and pack-down of the exhibits when needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Operates digital printer and vinyl plotter.
  
• Installs vinyl and 3-d letters on exhibits in set up area
  
• Installs low voltage accent and detailed lighting on exhibits
  
• Assist in test fitting exhibits when needed.
  
• Works with Project Managers and Design to resolve any issues with art and formatting
  
• Review Set up plans and work orders
  
• Test fits the components as requested
  
• Repair and adjustment configuration as needed
  
• Label Pack down components
  

About You:

• You have a High school diploma or GED and some relevant work experience.
  
• Sign making experience a plus!
  
• Familiarity with digital printers and graphic programs.
  
• Ability to see a spectrum of colors
  
• Familiarity with typography
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  
• Experience with sign making graphic design, typography and color
  
• Experience with low voltage lighting
  
• Blueprint reading
  
• Familiarity with carpentry hand and power tools
  
• Ability to work independently
