• Location: Holdrege, Nebraska (68949) – Nebraska healthcare job\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)\n
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed\n
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week; 12-hour rotating shifts; on-call 4 nights/month and every 5th weekend; included in holiday call rotation\n
• Type: Travel RN, On-Site\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100 - $2250\n

\n\nPACU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska\n
• Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications\n
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN, ADN, or diploma)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PACU nursing or Operating Room (OR) nursing\n
• Ability to participate in on-call and holiday rotations as scheduled\n

\n\nPACU RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Assess and monitor patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs in PACU and OR settings\n
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans\n
• Safely administer medications and treatments, following the "Five Rights of Medication Administration"\n
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and post-operative care\n
• Assist the Operating Practitioner and CRNA during surgical procedures\n
• Participate in sterilization, stocking, and case set-up for surgical cases\n
• Prepare and clean rooms, instruments, and supplies for patient safety\n
• Perform circulating nurse and scrub nurse duties as assigned\n
• Assist in Sterile Processing and endoscopy as needed\n
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients and healthcare staff\n
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times\n
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and ongoing professional development\n
