Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer 

Salary Range: $170k - $230k
Hybrid in NYC

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and experience working in a fast-paced startup environment. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that drive our logistics and trucking operations, contributing to our growth and success as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in our SaaS platform.
• Build and maintain APIs to support various integrations and functionalities.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
• Analyze and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Node.js and JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with TypeScript and REACT is highly desirable.
• Strong background in database management, particularly with SQL.
• Familiarity with logistics and trucking industry practices is a plus.
• Proven experience in a startup environment required, ideally early stage.
